A few weeks ago, a slew of epically rad ladies got together at Boreal Mountain for what I deem, without hesitation, one of the most epic events of the winter. The combined brainchild of Jess Kimura and Krush from Snowboy Productions the multi generational event, It’s Tits went down and it was an insane combination of epic riding, a creative course and positive vibes,
Signal team rider, up and comer Zeia Rose, and I piled into my car and made the quick drive from Tahoe to Mammoth just in time for some epic riding. We also met up with fellow Signal family member, Nali Prevedel. The three of us were hyped to be reunited and take some laps on the creative course that Boreal and Snowboy built for us.
With a storm coming, we all tried to squeeze in as much riding as possible on the first day. It was sunny and gorgeous and everything you’d expect from a typical California day on snow. The setup had snow boobies everywhere, hips, a quarter pipe and a centerpiece that was shaped like a breast cancer ribbon. It was everything you’d want and more from a women’s only snowboarding.
Frothing for some shred, Zeia, Nali and I dropped in right away, vibing off of everyones’ stoke and finding new and creative lines all throughout the weekend. Even on the second day, when it poured rain on us all day, it didn’t stop us from taking advantage of the shred. Trash bag getups and umbrellas were all we needed to keep going, a little rain wouldn’t stop us from getting the goods!

We came. It rained. We conquered. #Its_Tits 🌸

Getting that many women together in one space to take laps and progress was exactly what women's snowboarding needed. It’s a push in the right direction, and builds a community of empowered women in a male dominated industry. Looking forward to more rad shred sessions like this, and to another winter of laps with my fellow Hightailers!
