Signal's New Test Center!
Last week we put the exciting final bolt and weld into our first test feature at the Lodge! It includes a flat bar down the right side, round bar down the center and a ledge down the left side complete with pool coping and tiles. It's been a vision of ours for a long time to ride at the factory. Fun times while making sure Signal boards are put to the test any time we have a new idea. It's really amazing! Here jake shreds the center piece.

Batting around some ideas.
Hello Friends,

So it is June, which means it's time for another Signal quarterly design & marketing meeting. Basically, nine of us spend a week or so eating, drinking, laughing and bonking our heads together on all things design & marketing... board shapes, materials, graphics, stickers, catalogs, coffee, color ways, photography, trade shows, summer camps, street team and pro riders. More than anything, these little gatherings are an opportunity for us to stare at each other while thinking, doing, and saying everything related to our beloved little shred company. Oh, and street ball. We play A LOT of street ball.

Often, our quarterly meetings go down in California at our factory, The Lodge. This time, however, we decided to swarm Ian and Mike's Signal office up in Seattle. The work is wonderful and the vibe is fun. Funderful. Good times, great ideas... one quarterly meeting at a time.

All the best,
signal

PATCH MATCH!!
Patch Match shred Jam In SoCal
By Press Release
May 30, 2008

Escape L.A

Get shredded on June 8th at the Patch Match.

Sure it might be bikini season in SoCal, but there's still a patch of snow just off Hwy 2 that's entirely slashable. And some heads are hosting a jam. Come and ride from 10am to 5pm. Any and all welcome.

There'll be four different features to hammer on and prizes awarded for exceptionally radical behavior.
The patch is on Forest Service land about 5 miles northwest of Mt High ski resort. The swath of snow itself is about a mile and a half from the parking lot. For more specific directions surf over to www.myspace.com/patchmatch.

Correction... 1.4 lbs is the wood core weight.
The Park Rocker has had an enormous amount of great feedback.! A big thank you to all that have pre-ordered one. You won't be disappointed. The press release has one minor issue. Under the core section of bullet points, we stated that the core is a feather light 1.4 lbs. Our fault for not actually adding the word "wood core" to that particular bullet point. We apologize and still know, this board is still the lightest rocker on the market. ~signal
